This year’s event is very special as it will now be known as The Michael French Memorial Meals on Wheels of Western Broome 5K.  Michael was a long time Meals on Wheels volunteer, an accomplished runner, and instrumental in getting this event off the ground in its early days.  He was a big supporter of our cause and truly a kind and compassionate friend.  Michael passed away after a long battle with cancer in late 2021 and we are so grateful for the opportunity to honor him in this way.
